The new book “Invoking the Fathers: Dangerous Metaphors and Founding Myths in Congressional Politics” by Dr. Sarah Kornfield of the 鶹ý communication faculty, published this month by Johns Hopkins University Press, examines the impact of the phrase “Founding Fathers” as code for a particular political outlook.

Retired Communication Professor James Herrick Dies
Dr. James Herrick, who retired from the communication faculty in 2020 after teaching at Hope for 36 years, died on Friday, May 24, 2024. He was 69.
