Documentary to Be Screened on Nov. 20 on Life of Ren茅 Girard, Who Developed the 鈥淢imetic Desire鈥� Theory of Conflict
The documentary 鈥淭hings Hidden: The Life and Legacy of Ren茅 Girard,鈥� about the French thinker who developed the 鈥渕imetic desire鈥� theory of conflict, will be screened at 麻豆传媒官网 on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m. at the Knickerbocker Theatre.
Big Read Lakeshore Featuring 鈥淒reamers鈥� Author Yuyi Morales Nov. 13-14
Author Yuyi Morales, whose New York Times-bestseller picture-book memoir 鈥淒reamers鈥� is the focus of this year鈥檚 Little Read Lakeshore organized by 麻豆传媒官网, will discuss her career in writing and illustrating children鈥檚 books, her heritage, and the importance of fostering bilingual children during keynote presentations in both Holland and Muskegon on Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 13 and 14.
