Maps and Parking
If weather permits, the Commencement Ceremony will be held at Ray and Sue Smith Stadium.
Guests can park in any Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø parking lot not reserved for handicapped parking (see below), as well as surrounding city streets as permitted by local ordinances. The Holland Department of Public Safety will be assisting with traffic flow and access to the stadium.
We encourage you, if you are able, to walk from campus.
Accessible Parking
Lot 75, on the west side of Ray and Sue Smith Stadium, is reserved for accessible parking only. Entrance to Lot 75 is only permitted from East 16th Street between Bouws Pool and Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
Accessible Drop-off
Guests with limited mobility and/or who need accessible seating, can be dropped off at the southeast corner of Smith Stadium for shuttle transport to on-field seating. Entrance to this drop-off is only permitted from East 16th Street, between Bouws Pool and Pilgrim Home Cemetery. To access the drop-off, stay to the right of the fork in the road after you enter the drive. Accessible parking will be available in Lot 75 after drop-off.
General Drop-off
Those guests wishing to drop passengers off near the general pedestrian entrance located at East 13th Street and Fairbanks Avenue, may do so only on East 13th Street. Stopping and guest drop-off is strictly prohibited on Fairbanks Avenue.
In case of rain
If the Commencement Ceremony is moved to DeVos Fieldhouse, Lot 62 will be reserved for handicapped parking only. There are also many lots within walking distance west of DeVos Fieldhouse.
